For the 30th Annual TCA Award Ceremony Game of Thrones was able to snag to nominations;  The nominations were for Outstanding Achievement in Drama and Program of the Year.  Unfortunately Game of Thrones was unable to walk away with either of these awards.

For Outstanding Achievement in Drama the award went to The Good Wife.  And for Program of the Year Breaking Bad was the winner.  I cant complain about either of these decisions.   Breaking Bad was a flawless show and undoubtedly deserves the award for Program of the Year.  As for The Good Wife, I don’t watch it so I cant really give my opinion on the matter.

So what do you think?  Do you watch The Good Wife, and if so did it deserve to win the award over Game of Thrones? Let me know in the comments!

Well we’ve just received the list, from and Entertainment Weekly post, of who’ll be directing season 5 of Game of Thrones, and there aren’t many familiar faces on the list.

In the upcoming season of Game of Thrones there will be five directors, each filming two episodes.  The only returning director will be David Nutter, who previously filmed “The Rains of Castamere,” some of you may know it better as the episode with The Red Wedding.  This year he’ll be handling the final two episodes of the season.

Some more notable directors who will not be returning for season 5 are: Alex Graves who has previously directed six episodes (in two different seasons), and Neil Marshall who filmed both “The Watchers on the Wall,” and “Blackwater.”  Also taking a break from the directors chair this season are the showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.

Here is the season 5 Breakdown:

  • Episode 501 and 502: Michael Slovis
  • Episode 503 and 502: Mark Mylod
  • Episode 505 and 506: Jeremy Podeswa
  • Episode 507 and 508: Miguel Sapochnik
  • Episode 508 and 510: David Nutter
